The Devil Wears Prada... Sun Glasses? We didn't need a movie to give us the facts: when you say "Prada," you mean the height of fashion. Would it be such a surprise that Prada items are associated with material wealth and caprice? Prada sun glasses, for example, are sinfully striking, and devilishly stylish. The movie "The Devil Wears Prada" shows Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep, two of Hollywood's most gorgeous, wearing a dazzling assortment of signature items. They mix and match their clothing and accessories with eye-catching finesse, and the Prada label is just one of the many names associated with that sort of glamor. Prada sun glasses have always been a symbol of sophistication and good taste. The Prada label has been known for quality goods since its foundation in 1938 by Mario Prada, a resident of Milan. However, at the time, it was only known for its traditional leathers! Miuccia Prada, granddaughter of Mario Prada, inherited the label in 1978, and turned it into the fashion icon that it is today. The transition from being an old-fashioned leather goods shop to a multimillion-dollar fashion empire had a great deal to do with the adoption of bohemian styles. Prada started off by marketing its high-end vintage signature couture, and quickly became one of the most influential names in the global fashion industry. Now, of course, Prada outlets can be found wherever patrons of the fashion world reside. It currently has 14 outlets in the United States, 6 of which are in New York alone. Its three flagship outlets are located in New York, Beverly Hills and Tokyo. The makers of Prada accessories carry on the tradition of excellence set forth by the Prada family. Owning a single authentic pair of shades from this label speaks volumes about a person's eye for quality. You can say a lot of bad things about a person who has bad taste in eyewear, but "bad taste" is simply not a phrase that can ever be associated with Prada eyewear! If the Devil wears Prada, and specifically Prada sun glasses, you can be sure that fire isn't the only thing that sizzles in Hell! |
